Founding AI Engineer

Batch: 2019/2020/2021/2022. Details: - At OpenGrowth Ventures, we don't just invest in AI-native products — we build them, from day zero, alongside founders and engineers who want to own the stack end-to-end. This role sits inside one of our early-stage ventures building at the intersection of AI and market intelligence, and we're looking for someone who wants founding-engineer ownership, not just a seat on the team. What we're looking for: - ~4-8 years of software engineering experience, with real production ownership - Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript - Founding/early-stage engineer DNA — comfortable with ambiguity, shipping fast, and wearing multiple hats - Genuine interest in AI/LLM systems, fintech, or market intelligence - Experience with LLM pipelines, vector search, or event-driven backend architecture is a strong plus Why join us: - Build at the ground floor of a new venture with real resources and backing, work alongside a network of builders across OGV's portfolio, and help shape the technical DNA of a product from its earliest days — all from our in-office culture in Bangalore.
