Backend Engineer Intern

Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs while writing clean, scalable and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers. Responsibilities include database operations, third-party API integrations, debugging, testing, troubleshooting and participation in backend architecture discussions. Candidates should understand programming fundamentals, REST APIs, SQL databases, Git version control and web application architecture. Experience with Python, Java, Node.js, Go or similar languages is expected, while knowledge of frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js or FastAPI is beneficial. Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, microservices and NoSQL databases is preferred.
